THE PLANET IS OUR PLAYGROUND

At EXTREME we are passionate about leaving a positive legacy.

From the oceans to the mountains, our natural world has given us so much, now is the time to give back.

Although we recognise that we may not have all the solutions, we accept the challenge to learn, improve and do our part to safeguard the future for the generations to come. EXTREME have therefore taken action through partnerships with three initiatives and organisations.

OUR SUSTAINABILITY PARTNERS

We have partnered with “The Planet Mark” to measure our environmental impact and understand the measures we can take to propel us forwards on our mission to becoming carbon neutral

We are signed up to 1% for the Planet through which we have committed 1% of our annual revenue to environmental non-profit organisations that are creating a more sustainable future for all

We have committed to the United Nations “Sports for Climate Action” which commits us to raise awareness about climate change and promotes sustainable and responsible consumption through the power of sport and adventure

OUR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

In order to more thoroughly drive our activity through our sustainability partners and ensure we have a sound underpinning in our engagement, we have chosen 4 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to guide our focus and thinking

Steering us in this quest to do better for our planet is Amber Nuttall, our dedicated environmental and sustainability director who is no stranger to the perseverance and passion it takes to put our environment first. Amber supports and advises NGOs, governments and corporate organisations on their environmental goals and strategies. She is a proud board member of the Bahamas Reef Environment Educational Foundation (BREEF) and is also an advisor, fundraiser, and ambassador to the Blue Marine Foundation.

TREAD LIGHTER

Created in mid 2020 while in the first Corona instigated global lock down. It has not been easy but whilst we’ve been stuck indoors, nature has had time to heal. Through the release of our Tread Lighter video, we invite everyone to join us in doing their part to minimise our impact.
