Juliet Grace Luwedde

Climate Activist and Community Engagement JulietGrace Luwedde is an environmental enthusiast and climate activist currently gearing towards the development of a career as an accomplished Environmentalist. She loves working with fellow young people and is passionate about work-related to policy studies with a keen interest in advocating for future policies. JulietGrace is drawn to policy design, framing and implementation that focuses on conservation of our natural resources with a soft spot for tourism because she loves the outdoors. She has experience writing about the environment and extensive knowledge working with communities while promoting Sustainable Urban Agriculture for food security, ecosystem protection, and conservation of Natural Resources. She has contributed to institutional program designing, research, and capacity Training at the national level as a junior consultant with the Ministry of Water and Environment and the National Environment Management Authority. JulietGrace is currently the Community Engagement Lead at Pollicy Uganda a feminist civic technology collective whose work and research spans across the use and implementation of data and technology to engineer social change. Coordinator for the Children and Youth Forum on Environment and Climate Change Uganda, Eastern Africa Regional Coordinator for the African Youth Initiative on Climate Change in Uganda, Global Focal Point for the UNCCD Global Youth Caucus, Advisory Board member for the Gender, Generation and Climate Change (GENERATE) Project and a contributing author to the GEO-6 for Youth Africa.
